Our Mission

At the Bourbon Women Foundation, we are dedicated to fostering diversity and growth in the whiskey industry. Our mission is to assist a broad spectrum of individuals, particularly women, in exploring new careers and progressing their current path in the spirits sector. We extend educational opportunities to those already in the industry and support professional development through various programs. Our offerings include formal educational programs, internal and external training, innovation activities, and multidisciplinary experiences across numerous paths.

Honoring a Legacy

The Foundation’s journey began with seed funding provided by Rebecca and Regina Quick, in loving memory of Dr. Rhonda Quick — a passionate advocate for Bourbon Women and our vision of empowering environments for fearless whiskey women. Her enthusiasm for blending spirits education with personal development lives on through our work.

“Being chosen as an SIP Scholarship recipient in 2021 was a changing point in my mindset. Knowing that a group of women had seen what I had done in the industry and found value in me was one of the most uplifting things that I had ever experienced in my career.   It made me feel seen, respected, and appreciated.”
